Pointpol uses a minimal set of cookies and browser storage. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies, so no cookie banner is required under French/EU law (ePrivacy / CNIL guidance).
What we store
- Authentication (essential): Lovable Cloud / Supabase stores a session token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Removed when you sign out.
- Language preference (essential): the key
pointpol.langin local storage remembers whether you chose English or French. - Theme preference (essential): a small key remembers your light/dark theme choice.
All of these are strictly necessary to provide the Service you requested and are exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
Third parties
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies on its sign-in pages. We do not control those — see Google's privacy policy.
How to clear
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time from your browser settings. Signing out also clears the session token.
Changes
If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will add a consent banner before they load and update this page.
